Snowboarding has made a big impact on the winter sports scene and there is a thriving market in equipment, clothing and accessories. The Forum Snowboards Company is one of the most successful and started business in 1996. It was founded by Four Star Distribution and professional boarder, Peter Line. Retailers include Empire, Surfside, Colorado Boarder and Darkside.

It's never too early to get involved with the sport and Forum Snowboards have produced boards for the younger rider. The new Mini Youngblood is a youth version of the Youngblood and is available in three sizes, 137, 142 and 145. To go with the line in snowboards, there is a wide selection of boots and bindings for men and women. Men's accessories also include wallets, headbands, wrist bands and belts.

There have been a number of new products, added to the range for the Forum Snowboards 2008 season. One of these is a men's snowboard, named The Bully. This board is a wide version of The Grudge and is a light, strong board, designed for freestylers with big feet. It has burlap inlay and the graphics are produced in metallic inks.

The women's range also has a new product, an all mountain freestyle board, called Superstar. It is a state of the art design, lightweight and durable with a jewel inlay and matte varnish finish. The Star all terrain board is also very popular with female riders.

Video production is another lucrative enterprise for forum Snowboards. These videos present boarding as an exciting sport and professional boarders show off their skills. The soundtrack includes The Libertines and New Order. THAT is 40 minutes long and covers a variety of locations and terrain. Featured riders include Devun Walsh and JP Walker. True Life is 24 minutes long and is packaged with a CD. Chris Dufficy is one of the riders involved. Video Gangs features Dufficy and Walsh and the soundtrack has Public Enemy and Dead Kennedys tracks. The videos are a good marketing tool for introducing people to the sport and they are entertaining too.
